What is ACSL:

ACSL organizes computer science contests and computer programming contests for junior and senior high school students. This year, ACSL's 30th year of continuous operation, over 200 teams in the United States, Canada and Europe are participating. ACSL is on the approved activities list of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP). for more information visit (Visit www.acsl.org)

Club Timings.

American Computer Science Club (ACSL) will take sign ups in the cafeteria.  Meeting time is in the evenings on Wednesdays at 6:00pm-7:15pm in room D107. Contact Ms. Lee in B120 if you need any help.

Who can participate:
         
ACSL is open for both 7th Grade and 8th Grade students. The Junior Division is geared to junior high and middle school students with no previous experience programming computers. No student beyond grade 9 may compete in the Junior Division.

Regular Season Schedule

ACSL organizes four regular season contests that are held at each participating school. The last date on which each contest of the 2009-2010 season may be given is as follows:

    Contest #4     Friday, April 9, 2010

All-Star Contest Schedule

At the end of the year, an All-Star Contest is held at a common site. Invitations to the All-Star Contest are based on cumulative team scores in the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Divisions.This year's All-Star Contest will be held at a site to be announced on Saturday, May 31, 2010 (Memorial Day weekend).
